Biarritz

I choose to talk about Biarritz, because first of all I go there every summer, and second of all because it is a beautiful city, where you can surf, shop, go to the beach..

Biarritz is in the departement of the Atlantic Pyrenees, it is 38km away from St Sebastien wich is in Spain. They are six beaches: « la Plage du Miramar », « la Grande Plage », « le Port Vieux », « la Côte des Basques », « la Plage de Marbela » et  «la  Plage de la Milady ».

They also are a lot of festivals, concerts, museums, last summer they was the roxy jam. Biarritz became the “Spot” for all surfers, the beaches are filled with surfers, sometimes they can be waves over eight meters.

Biarritz has a big rugby team, who are called BO, short for Biarritz Olympic.

Their departement number is 64, it is very popular over there, they have a few shops in the city, where they sell clothes, bags, shoes.. with 64 on them. And also they are very famous with their 64 stickers.

And Biarritz is a place to be.., you can always surf, summer, winter, spring..

My family and I surf over there all the time, as long as you have a board and a good wet sut on, of you go..
