DEXTER

I would like to speak about my favorite series Dexter. Dexter is an American television drama series created by James Manos Jr since 2006. There are already four seasons and the fifth one has just started. The series tells about the story of Dexter Morgan, expert in analysis of traces of blood in the Police of Miami. But he isn’t an American citizen like the others.

When he was young, a Police officer found him in his mother’s blood : he became a traumatized child. He couldn’t feel emotions except satisfying his fatal impulses. His adoptive father, called Harry, learnt him how to control himself.
In his daily life, Dexter only kills the others criminals who have escaped from the legal system : he calls that the “Code of Harry”, in memory of his adoptive father. He is a dispenser of justice of the shade and carries out a double life. He learns how to have a normal life and to hide his secret to his girlfriend, colleagues and friends.

I do like very much this series because it is rather dark and the actors are brilliants. It is quite realistic and I like the psychological side of all the characters.
