Walt Kowalski is a retired man,racist and traumatized by the Korean War.He drags a solitude which weighs him since the death of his wife.These children dream to get rid of Walt by placing him in an old people's home.Always accompanied with his dog,he spends time drinking beers and polishing his Gran Torino of 1972,the collector's item which he loves most to the world.One night,he hears of the noise in his garage and surprises Thao,his Korean neighbor,forcing the car's door of his Gran Torino.Walt makes him leaves with his rifle to the hand.The next day,the mother of Thao comes to apologize to Walt.His son tells while it was forced by a gang to steal the car and suggests him putting itself in its service to redeem itself.Walt hires him to make works to him and makes friends with Thao.
I liked well this movie because it's funny at the beginning and he very moving at the end.
